As dawn broke through the clouds and rainy skies this morning our 4 Championship finalists teed off.
The men’s final was a rematch of last year with Shane Hollitt playing Ian Meredith. The first 18 was all Shane’s way turning 3 up, but Ian fought hard on the second 18 and was the eventual winner 3&2. The Womens Championship was a fight to the end between Michelle Hamence and Nadine McLindin. Michelle held the upper hand early 3 up thru 9 but consistent solid play saw Nadine turn the tables to win 1 up.

It was a battle today and very happy to win a second championship. Michelle is a really tough competitor and I love how close our games are and how similar our approach to golf is!….maybe her year in 2024.
