Sunday 14th January saw the first round of the 2024 Public Golf Course Pennants Series completed. North Haven have entered teams in Div 2 and Div 3.
Thanks to all who played last Sunday, especially our first timers…Jon Bowman, Alex Moore, Jacob Parker, Jack Ford, Justin Ruth and Cale McLindin.
Div 2 played Marion Park at Marion and won 4 1/2 to 3 1/2. An excellent result given the tough course and conditions, and lack of success there in the past.
Congratulations to John B on his first up win with the club. Congratulations also to Joel S, Scott D and Alex K on their wins. Congratulations to Justin M on a hard fought tie.
Next week 21st Jan Div 2 play API at North Adelaide starting at 12.25pm
The Div 3 were not so lucky at Nth Adelaide against Nth Adelaide going down 6 1/2 to 1 1/2. In hot and steamy conditions at Nth Adelaide, it is not easy to win matches. Congratulations to Michelle H on her win, and Jack F on a tie in his first Pennant match.
Next Week 21st Jan Div 3 play Penfield at Penfield starting at 8.00am
